What is Blood Flow Restriction Training?


Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training is a cutting-edge rehab technique that helps you safely build strength using lighter loads. By gently limiting blood flow to the limb, BFR boosts muscle activation and speeds up recovery—without putting extra stress on your joints.


How It Works:

  • A cuff applies the appropriate amount of external pressure to an extremity (arm or leg), which helps maintain arterial inflow while occluding venous outflow distal to the occlusion site.
  • Exercises are performed with a percentage of your personalized limb occlusion pressure, tailored by limb and goals.
